The Masterclass and the Matt greiner lesson have been extremely helpfull, I’m finally starting to figure out double bass. He’s very thorough and will answer any question you have. I finally tried the drummer hang out and that was a great time as well. I’ve been telling any drummer I know about this class. Thank you, Matt!

MGL has completely changed the way I learn. Since I started using it, I’ve been smiling again while practicing.

First off, this course is extremely challenging in the best way possible — and I love that. Every exercise truly earns the name “hip burner.” There hasn’t been a single time where my hips aren’t burning, which tells me the programming is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. The exercises feel purposeful, brutal, and very effective, and I can already tell they’re pushing my endurance, control, and consistency to a new level.

One small thing that I think could be a really helpful addition — similar to what you included in the Grooves and Fills courses — would be an on-screen or built-in metronome option for certain double bass patterns or grooves. Having a locked BPM reference really helps with consistency and progression, especially when revisiting the material over time.

Another feature that would be awesome (if possible) would be making the videos downloadable for offline use. Being able to train without needing a connection would make it even easier to stay consistent, especially when traveling or practicing in different spaces.

Overall though, the content itself is phenomenal. The difficulty level, structure, and physical demand are exactly what I was hoping for, and I really appreciate how much this course pushes the player.
